Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how FrostByte Software ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Break Oracle mobile app and related web experience.
Break Oracle is a Magic: The Gathering box break spot analyzer. It helps users compare break spots by retrieving card and set information from third-party card-data services.
Information We Collect
Break Oracle is designed to be privacy-light. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or payment information inside the app.
- No in-app account data — We do not provide user accounts or profiles for Break Oracle.
- No advertising identifiers collected by us — Break Oracle does not include third-party advertising SDKs.
- No analytics SDKs included by us — At the time of this policy, Break Oracle does not include third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
Network Requests and Third-Party Data Sources
To show card information, set details, prices, and images, Break Oracle makes network requests to third-party card-data providers, including:
- Scryfall — used for card metadata, pricing, and card images.
- MTGJSON — used for booster and set probability data.
When the app connects to these services, they may receive technical information such as your IP address, device/browser metadata, and request details as part of normal internet traffic. We do not control how those third-party services process data, and their practices are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
On-Device Data
Break Oracle primarily operates by processing data in the app at the time you use it. If the app stores settings, selections, or temporary data on your device, that information remains on your device unless you choose to remove the app or clear app data.
App Stores and Platform Providers
If you download Break Oracle through the Apple App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google may collect information in connection with distribution, purchases, diagnostics, or platform operations. Their handling of information is subject to their own privacy policies.
Children's Privacy
Break Oracle is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Break Oracle changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
